Carphone Warehouse is Europe’s largest independent mobile phone retailer, with more than 2,000 stores.

THE PROBLEM

Carphone Warehouse has an upgrade reminder service (URS) which they use to capture leads, who they can later engage and sell to. Although the service has many benefits, like the possibility of an “early upgrade”, it was not actively promoted, meaning opportunities for lead generation were potentially missed.

THE SOLUTION

Stream:20 reviewed the current user flow for capturing leads via the URS, as well as from other previous promotional activities:

  • Several recommendations were made for quick win site improvements and paid lead generation, including co-registration, in-banner and single sponsor
  • Booked lead generation activity, managed the creative process, and maintained regular optimisation of activity throughout the campaign
  • Provided recommendations for further lead generation activity

THE RESULT

  • Delivered 71% more leads
  • Lowered the CPL by 12%
  • Leads were delivered on time and on budget
